The chamber is the cheapest place to gain capacity. Everything downstream — the cone, the screen, the stockpile — is sized by what the jaw passes.
What the V-shape actually does
A deep, symmetrical "V" gives a longer nip length for the same opening, so material is gripped earlier and travels further per stroke. Combined with higher rotational speed and a larger stroke, the result is a bigger throughput with a lower energy input per tonne.
The details that keep it there
Capacity only holds if the machine stays tight. Labyrinth seals keep abrasive dust out of the bearings, and the double wedge block system changes the discharge setting mechanically instead of with shims — a setting that drifts is a setting that costs you tonnage.
On the RC series the motor is integrated with the mainframe without foundation bolts, sitting on rubber isolation pads. Less noise, less vibration into the structure, and faster installation.
